The car was built on February 6th in San Jose, Ca. and shipped to Salt Lake City and then to the Burke Hudelson Ford dealership in Nampa Idaho. The second owner bought the car for his wife January 5th, 1971 who drove it until her death in 1977. He threw the keys in the front seat and it set until it was bought in June of 2018. At that point in time it had 86,822 miles on it and today after a few test miles, 86,972. This two owner car has been professionally restored to its original specifications utilizing better than factory workmanship. There was no rust so it is all original sheet metal. The interior had to be completely replaced; the motor was rebuilt with all the correct parts by a company that specializes in Ford motors plus it was balanced. The original transmission, starter, alternator, and brake booster were also rebuilt. The car was a rotisserie build with the car remaining a numbers correct car. As you can see from the photos, attention to detail along with the original specifications being maintained.
This is a car fun to drive and own that is better today than when it came out of the factory February 6th, 1968. Buy a car that you can do the detailed inspection on with receipts for the work done. It is a car that has increased in its value and will give you an opportunity to relive the muscle car era.
