Classic charm with modern performance, reliability, comfort and safety.
This is my 1972 F100 Sport Custom shop truck. She has a full and stock 2005 P71 Police Interceptor V8 and drive train. This truck was originally from the west coast and the body and frame are very solid. Has logged aproximatley 1,000 trouble free miles since completed. Super reliable and I am confident literally could be driven anywhere.
Although the truck had great bones when I purchased her I wasn’t happy with the color choice and interior finish. So, she became a driving project for my shop. She was sanded, primed, and painted the two tone Ford colors you see here. I’ve always been a big fan of patina trucks so along with the dings and scrapes and wear and tear a nearly 50 year old truck accumulates during its working life, I enhanced the patina look which is so popular these days. To complete the vintage theme I installed new 17†American Racing Torque Thrust wheels and new tires.
The police package sets this Crown Vic swapped F100 a step above the civilian swaps you see out there. She performs, handles and stops extremely well and has a very smooth and comfortable ride. The cab has been insulated with premium sound deadening from top to floor. Then new black carpet and a Crown Vic console was installed finishing off the interior. I also had a stainless steel through the body side exhaust installed and it sounds and looks amazing and adds a great custom touch. Not too loud but a nice throaty rumble.
To finish off the police interceptor high performance 4.6 V8 I painted and detailed the engine cover in the same two tone colors the truck is painted.
The bed has a very nicely done with new full steel floor that has been treated to a coating of rust preventative matte black paint. This makes the bed very functional for hauling cargo. Covering the bed is a classic look snap on tonneau cover.

Police issue 4.6 V8 with AOD overdrive transmission
