A fuel-injected V8 and an A/C interior meet iconic classic style on this 1946 Ford Business Coupe Restomod. So dig into the details of one of the most distinct cruisers around.
We love the proportions of a vintage business coupe. Long hood, long trunk, and big rounded fenders. It instantly captures the feeling of a different era. This does it quite well with a nice glossy black that provides the ideal backdrop for all the interesting trim. There's a full-length line running this car's profile and streaks running across each fender that highlight how nice the bodywork is. Plus, there are nice details, like the red accenting in the grille and extra shine in the chrome bumpers. It all has that classic look we love, but the competition-style torque thrust wheels also hint at the performance within.
The interior is fresh, clean, and continues the full-black experience. Just like the exterior, this very dark package makes for a nice way to showcase some accenting. So the brightness of the dash and white piping of the seats are true standouts. There's even matching white piping in the headliner of this detailed build! While much of this has a vintage look, you'll also immediately spot some great upgrades. There's R134a air conditioning and the stereo is an AM/FM/CD unit with powered speakers and a USB input for your phone. The Grant sports steering wheel is on a tilt column. And the classic dash now has the modern glow of Dakota Digital gauges.
Under the hood is a true restomod heart. You have a 350 cubic-inch LT1 V8 borrowed from a Corvette. It's a proper installation, and so it not only looks good, but it also fires up readily like a powerful fuel-injected motor should. In fact, this is a proper computer-controlled setup, right down to the electric fan. And while this gives you extra power, the full package was upgraded to be a terrific driver. You have a smooth-shifting three-speed automatic transmission. Plus, power steering and power brakes with discs up front delver an all-around enjoyable experience.
This is the best of vintage and new, and it's all ready to run right now. Don't miss you chance, call today!
