Car description |

Up for sale is a very nice custom street ROD built to drive. The Wife and I used the GT 347 on weekends cruising to Malibu beach for cars and coffee and to hang out at local car meets, the GT 347 is a very respectable street carNOTa show car. But theGT 347always draws a crowd at local shows/Meets even though we have never entered any of them.
Sheis in very nice overall condition, but does have it's nicks and scratches as it is a "older restoration/build"Interior could use some work, We mounted the tach but did wire it yet "will be working before the auction ends", steeringwheel didn't have a horn button after a few close calls in L.A traffic and some really bad drivers, I wired up a very ugly temp button till I could get a new steeringwheel, but I never got around to it.Needs new speakercovers for the door's I never installed a radio so I didn't put speakerson the door's rather listen to the bad ass motor.Front drivers seat has a few popped seams, I'm sure anyupholstery shop could fix the seat pretty easy, but seat covers are pretty cheap, if I was going to keep the GT347 I would replace the two front seat covers, it can be done for a few hundred dollars so why not.
The Restoration/Build was completed about 5 years ago we put about 15,000 miles on it since.
I wanted something I could drive and enjoy without the worries of a hurting an all original car, so I decided to build one.We started with the cheapest rust free California Mustang I could find on Craigslist, a stripped 6 cylinder I could build the way I wanted, without the guilt of changing a collectible car. After I bought it for 1,200 Bucks we beganthe 3 year build.
Bodywork/PaintWork was done at Elite Restorations in Paramount CAI had them strip the body to the metal so we could have a clean start, all of the custom fiberglass work was done by hand the Hood, Molded Side Scoops and Rear Tail but the front lower valance was bought and install by them as well. We then used PPG Pearl Blue base coat and PPG clear coat.
MotorWork was done by B&D Racing in Van NuysCAThe Motor is a custom built late model 302 that was strokedto a 347 Cid Dyno at 477 HP " To the Crank"The 347 is a 9 to 1 compression Pump gas friendly full roller Motor with forged internals, Aluminumheads, Procomp intake and full MSD ignition.
TransmissionWork was done byB&D Racing in Van Nuys CATremec World Class T5 " 5speed" with short throw shifter
ClutchWork was done byB&D Racing in Van Nuys CAStage 2 mcleod clutch with light wight flywheel
Rear Suspensionand BrakesWork was done byB&D Racing in Van Nuys CAFull Posi 9 inch Ford Rearedwith 3.70 gear, 31 spline Moser Axles with drum Brakes, CalTracs Traction Bars, CalTracs Rear springs, Monroe Air Shocks.
Front Suspensionand BrakesWork was done byB&D Racing in Van Nuys CA16:1 Flaming River manual steering gear box, Flaming River Steering column, Stock Style A arms with Ploy Bushings and upgraded 5 Lug hubs with full size passenger car disk brakes .
Please understand I have tried to be as honest andfourth-comingas I could possibly be with mydescriptionof the Mustang GT 347, but everyone see's things verydifferently, especiallywhen it coming to Street Rods andmuscle cars.In my opinion this Mustang is not perfect by any search but she is a veryrespectful7 footer that runs and drivesexcellent.
My Seller feedback is veryimportantto me.This is why I am reallyunconvertibleselling this car to someone that do's not see the Mustang in person. Please try to make everyeffortpossible to comeview/inspect the Mustang for you're self and come up with you're own opinion, but if you are not able to make it to the Los Angeles area, pleaseconsiderhiring a 3rd partyvehicleinspection compony, they can come by and take a look at the Mustang in you're behalf, so we both can be morecomfortableknowing you are bidding with more information then just relying on mypicturesanddescription.
Just Googlesearch"Ebaymotors pre purchase inspection" hundredsof options will show up, these inspection services cost about 300 dollars and in my opinion is a very good investment given you are making a very expensivepurchase and you should be as informed as possible.I will make every effortto meet with any prospective buyer or thererepresentativeto check out this wonderfulStreet Rod.
The Mustang is also for sale locally as well so I reserve the right to end the Auction at anytime. Thank you for taking the time to look and read my ad. Happy bidding!
Please contact Miller at 310 409 6541 If you have any question or would like to make an appointment to come see the Mustang.
I uploaded the picture's in a large format so the bidders can get as much detail as possible, the downside is you may need to scroll to see the picture as some of the picture's don't fit in the screen, but I feel it's better to have a large more detailed picture then something small that you can't see what you are bidding on.
