Car description |
---|
This two door Ford Cortina saloon was built at the Dagenham factory in April 1966. It features a 1498cc high compression engine with a floor mounted 4 speed transmission. We bought the car ten years ago thinking it might be the basis of a fun race car project, but never got around to doing anything with it. The car is missing some parts and obviously requires a total restoration, but would be a solid and excellent basis for restoration - or perhaps a Lotus Cortina replica!

I have been asked by several people if I have the bonnet and boot lid. There is indeed a bonnet with the car, although it is rough and will require extensive repairs. Sorry to say the boot lid was lost a long time ago.
