Sorry, eBay is having some issues with their listing tools.
1) Miles are 126,00 miles. The title listing only allows five digits.
2) They have removed the dealer photo editor. As a result, a couple of images are sideways. I can email correctly framed pictures..just ask.
3) Ebay no longer allows large pictures with scrolling over for the dealer listing tool. Please click on the see pictures link to see better photos. I am happy to email full size images..please feel free to ask.
Lovely original 1963 Ford Thunderbird with factory tanneau cover (NOT a factory roadster). Mechanically well maintained by very long-term owner. 126422 miles.
This T-Bird came from a long time owner who maintained it very well. The paint had dulled over time and the trim had also gotten dirty. He drove the car regularly and always ensured everything worked including the power top.
When we got the car to our shop, we put our detail crew on it and spend nearly eight days on a full cosmetic detail inside and out. We also replaced the top with correct vinyl. The most impressive thing was how the paint came back. It looks great. It is not a show quality job but really pops with great shine and finish. This is a fantastic parade car.
Likewise, the chrome came back beautifully as well. There is no serious pitting on any major piece, only slightly apparent on vent window surrounds, etc.
The panel and door fit is excellent. The rockers and quarters are straight and crisp with no rust repair in any of them. The glass is all original and in excellent shape.
The top vinyl is brand new and correct. All of the top mechanisms work correctly and have been kept in good running condition by ownership. The top compartment is tidy and correct.
Inside the car is also a testament to how well it was taken care of. All of the surfaces are very nice and with the exception of a small crack in the steering wheel, it is all very nice. It has manual windows, AM radio, power top, power steering & brakes and a fully working swing-away steering wheel! The car is a factory air car but the a/c does not currently work.
The engine bay is very tidy but not detailed. Everything is correct. The underside is original and has never been restored. There is no serious rust there either.
Overall, this is a wonderful driver caliber car that is priced where much lessor cars often are priced at. It is a lot of car for the money with no needs and road ready.
