Up for auction in my 1968 Ford F250 Factory High Boy. It is in extremely good condition. I just replaced the tired 390 engine(which is still in the bed) with a "mirror 105" block 390 engine. It has vintage Cal Customs valve covers, an Edelbrock intake manifold, with a Holley 4 barrel carb, with a custom air intak, and Hooker headers. It has 3 inch dual exhaust. Prior to installing the engine, I wrap insulated the starter to repel heat from the header. It comes with power steering, power disk brakes, and air conditioning. The gas tank that was behind the seat, was removed, and a second tank was added underneath the bed. The fuel filler opening was filled in on the cab. It was done very well. The second tank is fed through the first tank. The factory heating system was removed, and an aftermarket heating/ air conditioning unit installed. It has a Dana 60 posi rear end with 4.10 gears. It can pull a stump. The front axle is a Dana 44 from a 1976 Ford F250. The disk brakes were sourced from the 1976 truck also. It has a New Process 435 4 speed transmission, and a 205 transfer case. It has Warn hubs up front. The body is laser straight. The previous owner removed the body prior it it being painted. The cab was replaced with a rust free cab, and all the body panels were taken down to bare metal, prior to painting. The previous owner made an attempt to paint it himself, which was a mistake. There are spots where the prep work wasn't the best. The hood needs to be repainted. The rest of the truck could use a good buffing. The mirrors are fabulous. The only rust is a little surface rust on the driver's lower fender, and the front of the hood. The rest of the body is FABULOUS!Underneath is very clean! I will post pictures of the underside tomorrow. If I were to keep it, I would just repaint the hood, and leave the rest alone. It has factory bucket seats, a digital dash gauge set, and a Kenwood stereo system. The interior is in exceptional condition. There is a little hole in the bolster of the driver's seat, but that is it. All the lights work, gauges work, horn works, and the tires are like new. This is a rare opportunity to find a High Boy that has been taken care, and it in great, honest condition. I am in no hurry to sell, so no low ball offers please.
