Car description

Hi, I have owned the van a out 3 years. purchased from the first owners 58 year old son in Wikenburg Arizona. Other than the cosmetic fiberglass modification sand wheels/tires, it is original 1976 "Custom" trim option van, 107,xxx "box A" original miles. It is mechanically great conditon with almost all maintenance and major fuel and brake systems have been overhauled. I doubt anyone is willing to do this for this old ford, but I will drive it to the winning bidders home for cost of gas, hotels, and my plane ticket home. I would require at least 2500.00 deposit and rest due in cash at delivery. Cost would probably be cheaper to ship it, but the van is awesome and would be vantastic to take on its maiden voyage after all the work that's been done.
The Windsor 351 has no ticks or tocks or knock, funny noises or leaks. It starts with one pump almost always. Choke sets and releases properly. It runs super quiet even when the engine cover is off. The C6 heavy duty trans shift smooth.
No rear bumper...yet! No accidents or body repair, this is the original steel and paint with all the dings and scratches and fade. Here is what has been done in the last 3 months:,New carpet and pad (automotive proper pile/insulation pad with 8 ft extra for interior seating pedestal/bed)Fiberglass flares/spoiler/ visor painted this factory color "hot ginger metallic",Sparkplugs, ignition wires, distributor cap, rotor, tune up,. New Firestone Imdy 500s installed on 15x8.5 ARE, 15x10 1976 Appliance Slot Mags powdercoated and CNC machine preserved Detroit vintage wheels, Motorcraft carburetor completly cleaned /rebuilt powervalve, accelerator pump, needle/seat/gaskets. Fuel pump, carb filter, Fuel Tank, Fuel tank sending unit and pickup screen, Fuel tank filler hose, Fuel tank vent and seal, Fuel tank vent hose,Fuel tank filler vent hose Fuel supply hoses, coolant flush, Upper/Lower radiator hose , Heater Core hoses, Front Monroe HD Shocks, Rear Monroe Air shocks, Brake calipers,Brake rotors, Front wheel bearings and seals, Front and rear brake flex hoses, Rear brake hardware kit, Rear Brake shoes,Wheel cylinders,Battery, Battery cables, alternato, New windshield wipers New In Box parts: 100amp alternator, The A/C is not cold YET everything is complete. Will be soon. Will update listing once recharged. Has not been charged in 10 years at least. It had not been converted, yet. Clutch engages and pumps. Blower fan and HVAC work. Heat is hot. awesome van. All the lights turn signals, wipers, heat controls, and cigarette lighter work as they should. Pretty much everything is in good working condition with exceptional of AC. I will get it working soon.
Please note the van does, not have a extender on the sliding door to clear the 15x10s and flares so it only open a little right now. The original spare rim is included, I do not have a tire on it. Plan was to put a slot mag/tire on the back. There are few dings and dents on the back doors. The paint in general is original with chips all along the rockers. I personally like the satin like faded finish, no intention of painting it. The body i s basically rust free if you do not count the patina. There are no rust on the quarters or rockers ...just s ee the photos for how clean the underside is. The Philco AM Radio works. Oh and the muffler has some holes and it sounds loud but it rumbles like 3 chamber flowmaters now.
Payment preferred cash in person o, bank to bank wire transfer (safest way) or cash in person within a week, PayPal is only for deposit. I could take check, but with all the "I'm In the Danish military on a oil rig let me send a check with the shipper" scams, I'd rather go the safest route so we both feel safe.
I would sell the van for less without the awesome wheels and tires, and some decent rollers for shipping.I would sell the wheels and tires for 2k plus shipping if you just wanted the wheels and tires!.
Thanks for checking out my van, have a great day. Please ask any questions.
