I have a project that is roughly ½ way along that I no longer can afford to keep going. Basically, the story is that my dad babied a largely all-original 1946 Ford truck that he’d putter around on our farm with for many years. In the early 2000’s, he could no longer drive, so I got it running again after finding a replacement for the flathead V8 that had a cracked block.
After he passed, it was either move on, or upgrade it to something I was comfortable with. Dad could keep it running, I could not - and I couldn’t afford to have it in the shop every time it wouldn't start. So my vision was to basically keep the experior original, but do a frame-up restoration that would be safe and operable on modern roads. I don’t have the skills to do this myself, so I had it done at a small shop in Bonners Ferry, ID by a place a relative recommended called Milepost 66 Restorations. The proprietor there has been chipping away at the project over the last few years, and has all the details anybody could want on the project state. The project in still in northern ID currently at the shop.
At this point, I’m hoping to find someone who wants most of the project at it’s current stage, so that all the custom engineering that has gone into the ground-up restoration isn’t wasted. Otherwise, I’ll part it out and cut my losses, either way.
I’ve attached some pictures of the project at various stages, and will add more later. Basically, the details are as follows:

Pictures of project at various stages of it in progress. All work to date has been professionally done by Milepost 66 Restorations in Bonners Ferry, ID. The owner has done all the work to date, and can provide any details of interest to a prospective buyer about the conditions of original body parts, work done to date and overall plan for the truck's retromod work.
