1989 Ford Bronco XLT 4x4 V8 5.0 Only 66,000 Orig Miles Clean Carfax Garaged Since New! Must See And Drive! Americas most notorious 4x4 is also becoming a great collectable. This 1989 Ford Bronco 4x4 is now eligible for AACA shows and remains the pinnacle of full-sized Bronco fun. Very nicely preserved with only 66,xxx actual miles, this is the one to own if youve always admired the big Bronco. Ford did gangbuster business in the late 80s and early 90s with their upscale off-road machines, and not many full-sized off-roaders were more admired than the Bronco. While the most famous one was white, this handsome Red Bronco looks great bombing down the road or climbing through the trails, and its hard to believe that these went out of production more than two decades ago. I mean, this is a timeless design! We believe that to be original paint, its showing very little age but nothing critical and it certainly speaks highly of the care it has received over the years. The chrome bumpers look great, the grille and aero headlights are original and present well, and the White roof with dark tinted windows adds just the right contrast to give it a heavy-duty look. Go ahead, just try to find one this solid, low mileage and without any questionable modifications; they just dont exist like this anymore! The interior is another very pleasant surprise, offering comfortable Red vinyl buckets and lots of space for five. Ford insisted on upscale appointments in almost all of their models, and the Cloth material chosen here is tasteful and durable, showing less then normal wear over the past 30 or so years, being garaged help preserve it very well. this Bronco features options like a power rear window and factory A/C. The door panels are simple but effective, the inside of the removable top is in great shape (wed be surprised if it was ever removed) and the dash is one of the more car-like features of this big truck and is remarkably free of any cracks. A full array of big, legible gauges are in front of the driver, with the climate controls and stock radio. The nicely appointed back seat looks unused and the cargo bay is positively massive, fully upholstered and carrying a large rubber mat for further protection. Fords erstwhile 302 cubic inch V8 (5.0L) is a great choice to move all this sheetmetal, providing plenty of low-end torque that never feels strained. Despite a vast aftermarket for the venerable 5.0, this one remains quite stock, from the long intake hoses from the remote air filter to the intake that was specifically designed to bolster the torque curve. The engine bay is as clean as the rest of the truck, and if its ever seen anything rougher than a gravel driveway, wed be surprised. With a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission and a 2-speed transfer case, this truck is equally happy at highway speeds or crawling at barely a walking pace and the suspension is built for moderate off-roading. Even the exhaust system is quite stock, offering a smooth hum instead of V8 horsepower, but thats easy to fix if you need a bit more rumble. Handsome wheels are rugged and modern, wearing5 BFGoodrich All-Terrain radials which are pretty pricey all by themselves. If you grew up in the 80s, you know this is a cool truck, and you just wont find more full-sized go-anywhere transportation for less cash than this. And with only 66k miles on the clock, this full-size Bronco has plenty of life left in it.
