Interesting Tbird here that apparently was modified by Studebaker Steve out of Napa California. A quick internet search found this fellow to be a well respected enthusiast and parts dealer. This screaming bird was powered by a 310 horse Packard V8 running dual quads. This was a factory set up out of a 1956 Packard Caribbean, the top tier engine trans set up for the marque. Apparently the car ran at Fremont, Folsom and Sears Point drag strips. Unfortunately the car was parked behind a residence in San Francisc and there it sat for the better part of 3 decades until now. It has rust in the panels. I have not found thru rust or rot in the frame and I have been all over the car. The car can be saved in its current form. The firewall was modified and a section was cut out to accept the humongous Packard 4 speed. We found the vin tag in the glovebox. There is also one extra transmission which is how I know the sheer size of this tranny. That transmission was found in the trunk which I will add a pic of. The trunk is not super rusty at all. The soft top framework is present and still has remnants of material on it. Yes the car is in a shambles but we could not turn it down. Once we learned its history it was the icing on the cake. We can help you ship it and see the deal thru. Title is in transit and is included in the deal. We are motivated to move the car to its new home and are looking for a confident buyer.
