Placing my 1947 Ford COE up for sale to a good home. I hate to let it go, but after a few overseas deployments, multiple untrustworthy restoration shops, and overall life, it has come to the point that I have done what I could with it and I must pass it on to another with a dream. The being said, you can own a piece of history! Not many of these ol'boys left, and if you do find them they aren't complete. This one came to me complete and running. Used as a farm truck in Minnesota. Not looking to recoup what I have into it in parts and labor, which would be over twice the Buy it Now price.
I conducted most of the disassembly. Had the engine cleaned up by Jasper at the time (Ford 330), but may need another cleaning. Also had the transmission gone through at that time. Swapped the old rear end with a Dana 70HD, the front axel with a Ford F550 front axel, and rust encapsulated the frame.
Some of the metal work parts purchased and installed are as follows:
The cab is in good condition now. Sandblasted, primed for paint and has a metal flooring cut for it. Not listed is the glass purchased for the cab and I had a stand made for the cab to sit on while not mounted on the truck. I had the seats and seat backs reupholstered, because they were in really bad shape. I also bought a new instrument cluster, frame mounted tool boxes, and a push start button for it. I have most of the old parts I pulled off with plans to replace except the front and rear axels and other parts that were so rusted or not functioning that it made no sense to hold on to. Has a hydraulic lift bed on it, but I have not done anything to it in the line of getting it cleaned up. Lots of pictures available in the link below and I can answer any questions you may have. Everything I have for it will go with the sale. I will not part it out or give it away, but will entertain serious offers and I also have it listed locally.

SHIPPING: Buyer responsible for arranging shipping. The vehicle does not move under its own power and has no brakes. I will be on site at the time of shipping to assist. For comparison I had it moved three times using UShip and did not pay more than $800 each time.
