***So we came up a little short last time. I really think this truck should bring more than the $8100 bid. It does drive well. It could be a great winter project. After the auctions end I would be willing to work with buyer if they do not want engine / trans and or wheels. I have updated the listing to answer some of the questions I received last time.***
1931 Ford Model A pickup. This hot rod runs, drives and stops. Just like any other it could use a little tinkering. The engine is a SBC 305 with Edelbrock 3 deuce intake. The thermostat housing seeps a little and will need sealed. The carbs are Rochester 2bbl, but only the center carb is live at this time. I have a progressive linkage included in the sale, but not installed. The trans is a 700R4. The rear is a S-10 with factory disc brakes. The front suspension is brand new and was recently aligned. The cab has the typical lower rust(cowl, doors, cab corners and rear) but the floor is in good shape. The cab was blasted and painted but I did not put any filler back on the cab. The windshield is new and I had the rear glass cut, but I have not installed it. The passenger door glass is the original, as far as I know, but it was etched when the cab was blasted. The driver side door is missing the regulator and glass. The bed sheet metal is brand new. I do have a clear title in my name. As stated this truck is not perfect, but you could drive it while you finish it. Please ask questions and I will do my best to answer any and all. I have lowered the reserve from last time, but I will continue to lower if necessary.
