For sale is a custom built 1961 Ford Fairlane 2-door sedan channeled over a 2006 Ford Crown Vic police interceptor. Car is a beautiful sleeper with subtle body mods, all late model drivetrain, and very clean timeless black vinyl interior. Body was rotisserie massaged, interceptor's floor pan and trunk pan were utilized along with firewall from Vic. Stock Crown suspension was lowered using Eaton coil springs with all factory parts completing package. Motor, trans, and rearend are all original equipment to the sherif's personal interceptor. Vintage Air was retrofit into dash and integrated with original OEM AC system, VERY clean set up. All the electronics that were part of the interceptor's dash were utilized, but an effort was made to blend old with new right down to the ignition key which remains to the left of steering column. All of the computer programing remains factory set for a police vehicle, acceleration and shift points are just like chasing the bad guy! All stainless has been professionally refinished, all chrome has been replated, all rubber products replaced, all glass replaced, and interior has completely been updated. Tires and wheels are the rated factory products required for law enforcement vehicles, beauty rings were added for appearance. Original set of keys, a second set, owner's manual, and California car cover included with sell. This Fairlane is a one off, extremely nice, very cool, competitively priced, reliable and fun car. A real conversation piece. Last picture was an ISCA show in San Antonio a few years back. It won its class along with a special award for attention to detail.
