This 1952 Ford F1 has been completely and meticulously rebuilt. The truck is very straight with no significant rust. Engine has been upgraded to a 390 cu. in. with a C6 Automatic transmission. Brakes, suspension and the entire electrical system have been rebuilt and/or upgraded, including original era heater, 2-speed electric wipers and aluminum cooling system with electric fan. Previous owner kept detailed receipts of every dollar spent and every item replaced on this truck. The shear volume of receipts and notes is astounding and documents specifics including part numbers for maintenance, documentation accompany major items (carburetor, radiator, etc.)
The cab is in excellent shape. Windows roll smoothly doors are solid and the bench seat has been restored and recovered. Even the pop-up vent between the hood and the windshield functions correctly.The truck is painted in blue, with some patina, but overall very solid and includes a solid steel bed with rubber bed liner. Running boards and fenders are solid and straight. Wheels and suspension are to the original specifications. Tires are era-specific and have lots of tread left.
With the upgraded engine, the truck fires up immediately and can spin its wheels on dry pavement, even with an automatic transmission. It drives smoothly down the highway and its manual steering and brakes are solid.
