If you have been sifting through the hundreds of '32 Fords advertised out there, trying to find one that will separate you from all of the others, you will want to take a very close look at this one-of-a-kind jewel.'Red Hills Rods & Classics' is thrilled to offer you absolutely gorgeous 1932 Ford Roadster Pickup Show Truck, a high-end build that was just recently completed and is pure 'eye-candy' in every sense of the term! The idea was to create... the perfect '32 Ford RPU w/ only the best components that money can buy, and I can safely say that they hit it right out of the park! The all-steel full-fendered body is from Brookville, and countless man-hours were spent making sure that all of the metal is laser-straight throughout, w/ perfect body panel placement & precise gaps. The Raven Black base-coat/clear-coat paint was then applied, and was buffed & polished to a mirror-like shine from front to back. The grille-insert, chopped windshield frame, and all other chrome pieces are brand new and in show-quality condition, as are the large commercial headlights. The bed was finished w/ beautiful oak wood & stainless-steel slats which looks outstanding. This show truck has the 'perfect' stance, and sits on American Rebel wheels (4.5" American Rebel Starburst wheels up front & 16" x 5" American Rebel Sprint wheels on the rear) wrapped w/ Firestone F560/125/R15 tires up front & 255/70/R16 Blackwall Smoothies on the rear. It doesn't matter what angle that you view this truck from, it always looks 'perfect' and it sits just right. The body sits on a So-Cal 1932 Ford traditional square-box chassis w/ all new So-Cal suspension components throughout, including: 5" drilled chrome drop axle, chrome So-Cal front shocks, adjustable coil-overs in the rear, Ford 9" differential, triangulated 4-bar rear suspension, polished aluminum finned Buick-style front brakes, etc. The differential, driveshaft, rear backing plates, transmission oil pan, etc. were painted bronze to match the motor & interior, which looks excellent (please see the undercarriage photos to see how nicely everything was done). The custom leather interior is certainly one of my favorite features on this truck, as they went above & beyond to get that vintage-inspired look. Interior features include: distressed brown/gray leather seat by Morris & Giles, matching Morris & Giles brown/gray leather on the door panels w/ pouches & leather handles, matching Morris & Giles brown/gray leather kick panels & rear panels, painted dash w/ engine turned dash insert, full set of (6) Classic Instrument gauges, 1940 Ford steering column by Ididit, custom Crestline Ford steering wheel w/ 'F' logo, 20" Lokar shifter, (2) sets of bronze colored seat belts, and black German weave carpeting throughout. All of the gauges, lights, blinkers, etc. are in perfect working condition, and of course the original cowl vent functions flawlessly. This custom leather interior is simply exquisite and exudes class in every way. The seating is extremely comfortable and that fresh leather smell is absolutely delightful.Powering this one-of-a-kind '32 Ford Pickup is a new Chevrolet Performance ZZ6 350ci crate motor w/ 405hp & 405 Lbs./Ft Torque. GM topped the 350 short-block w/ a pair of Fast Burn aluminum cylinder heads w/ 62 cc chambers, large intake runners, 2.00/1.55-inch valves, and beehive valve springs. Other features include a forged hydraulic crankshaft, powdered-metal connecting rods, aluminum roller-style rocker arms, hypereutectic pistons (9.72:1 compression ratio), single-plane aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock 750cfm carburetor, HEI distributor, single-belt front-accessory drive kit, and custom aluminum headers. The motor is dressed up w/ bronze colored valve covers w/ chrome spark plug wire retainers, & matching bronze colored air cleaner assembly, which look beautiful. The ZZ6 is linked to a 700R4 automatic transmission, which feeds power to the Ford 9" rear-end w/ 3.50 gears. She fires up instantly, and she runs, drives & performs beautifully in every way. I have to say that this '32 Ford Roadster Pickup is one of the finest driving Hot Rods that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. She has loads of power & torque when needed, and the 700R4 transmission shifts extremely smooth & tight. There are NO rattles, NO vibrations, and NO unwanted noises of any kind, which is quite rare in custom-built Street Rods, and in the 'looks' department - well let me just say that she will be very hard to beat!Again, if you have been searching for a 1932 Ford Street Rod that stands out in the crowd, you will be hard pressed to find a finer example anywhere @ any price, period!
