We bought two 1968 Ford Mustangs to restore, one for each son. We recently fully restored one (see pics) but are putting the second up for sale (un-restored) since the other son is going into the military. We are the second owners of this car.
The VIN (8F01R193107) is the same on the window dashboard plate and door tag (see pic for door tag). Door tag details are included here if not easily readable in the door tag pic: 8F01R193107, 65A, F, 2A, 14E, 17, Y, U.
Replaced by the original owner:
  • Original 8 cyl Cobra Jet 428cid/335hp 4bbl with a replacement 8 cyl Windsor 351cid/300hp 4bbl
  • After-market AM/FM radio with digital pre-sets (but fits into the factory instrument panel fascia)
  • Installed Mopar 68 Road Runner / GTX Amber Side Marker Lights in rear fender
Otherwise, the vehicle is 100% original, including original owner's manual (see pic), tires still on original GT rims and center caps, and exhaust headers, with NO RUST ON THE FLOOR.
