The car came from the factory with a red exterior, black interior and white top. In 1988 the owner decided to change the colors to what you see currently. When the car was painted, rust was cut out of both lower rear quarter panels and behind the rear of the front wheels and replaced with metal ‘patch’ panels. It is missing the ‘divider’ trim behind the rear wheels on the quarter panels.

The interior was painted the ‘saddle’ color and there is evidence of age related cracking on the dash, door panels, and console.

Mechanically the Mustang runs great. Approximately 6 years ago a local mechanic went through the engine and transmission. He added the Holley EFI unit and Weiand intake manifold, so the car runs smoother and quieter. Additionally, a later model electronic ignition replaced the traditional distributor

About the same time all the mechanical work was performed a new gas tank and fuel lines, electric fuel pump, new brake lines and hardware were done too.

Electrically all the turn signals and lights function normally. The only gauge that does not work is the clock.

Top was replaced back in ’88 when the color was changed, and it still works like new. There is a slight tear in the center below the rear window. The ‘Boot’ for the top is the original white.

Total miles on the car is accurate at 103000. Since the rebuild only approximately 15,000.

Approximately 10 years ago I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage.
