WE HAVE FOR SALE A 1958 FORD RANCHERO RADICAL KUSTOM. THIS IS A CALIFORNIA CAR WITH A CALIFORNIA TITLE. THIS CAR HAS A CHOPPED TOP WITH CANTED B-PILLARS. THE TOPPED WAS CHOPPED 1-3/4" WHICH ALLOW THE USE OF A 57/58 HARDTOP WINDSHIELD. THIS CAR HAS A 1957 DESOTO FRONT BUMPER THE HEADER PANEL HAS BEEN SLIGHTLY EXTENDED AND RECONTOURED TO FIT THE BUMPER PERFECTLY ALONG WITH THE HEADLIGHT BROWS BEING SLIGHTLY EXTENDED TO MATCH. THE FACTORY DIE-CAST HOOD SCOOP HAS BEEN REPLICATED IN SHEET METAL AND IS FULLY FUNCTIONAL. THERE IS A 1958 FORD TAIL LIGHT MOLDED INTO THE TOP OF THE RIGHT HAND FENDER TO BE USED AS AN ANTENNA MOUNT. THE DOOR HANDLES HAVE BEEN SHAVED AND THE DOOR LATCHES WERE UPDATED TO MODERN BEAR CLAW LATCHES. THE REAR OF THIS CAR HAS A 1958 FORD STATION WAGON REAR SECTION MOLDED TO RANCHERO BED. THE TAIL LIGHT AREA HAS BEEN REWORKED TO ACCEPT 1959 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE TAIL LIGHTS. THE LICENSE PLATE HAS BEEN FRENCHED. THE REAR BUMPER HAS HAD EXHAUST OUTLETS MOLDED IN AND HAS BEEN TUCKED IN TIGHT TO THE BODY WITH THE SHEET METAL REWORKED FOR A NICE FIT. ALL THE BODY WORK WAS PERFORMED BY A KKOA HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE. THE ENGINE IS A 292 Y-BLOCK WITH CAST ALUMINUM THUNDERBIRD VALVE COVERS AND THE TRANSMISSION IS A TOPLOADER FOUR SPEED. THE BENCH SEAT IS A POWER SEAT FROM A 1958 LINCOLN. THE CAR WILL START,RUN, AND MOVE BUT NEEDS MECHANICAL ATTENTION. I BELIEVE ALL OF THE TRIM IS IN THE BED OF THE CAR ALONG WITH A WINDSHIELD THAT WAS DAMAGED DURING TRANSPORT.
