Up for sale is one beautiful 1955 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria. It boasts a 272 motor with automatic transmission. This Vic has been updated to a 12 volt system and power steering for east starting and easy driving. This Crown Vic has NO rust issues NO blisters in the paint and NO mechanical issues (the speedo cluster is the only thing not working, an aftermarket gas gauge was installed). This is a metal car and not a bondo bucket. Paint and body is in excellent shape as you can see in the pictures. It is an older restoration but still shows very nicely and has a slight off white two tone paint scheme. The paint is vibrant and laid nicely with no waves down the side. It does have a hand full of blemishes here and there (stone chip and two very small paint cracks but nothing major that takes away from the beauty of the car. NO scratches and NO dings. The gaps are all nice and nothing is rubbing or mismatched. There is absolutely NO rust, rot or paint blisters on the car. The underneath is extremely clean and solid with no rust issues. The chrome and stainless is all in great shape, and there is a lot on this beautiful car. The driver and passenger window gaskets are showing their age but they do seal. The engine bay is clean, nice and tidy and keeps its factory look. The glass is all very nice, no scratches or hazing and the windows go up and down smoothly. The 272 absolutely purrs, it will fire as soon as you hit the key and it cruises down the road beautifully. When you fire it up and drive it down the road, it sounds MEAN! The motor is super healthy and was completely professionally rebuilt by the previous owner at the time of the restoration along with the transmission. Again it fires right up, idles perfect, runs nice and cool with great oil pressure. No smoke and no weird noises. AGAIN, SOUNDS AMAZING! The transmission shifts beautifully. The interior is in gorgeous shape, no issues and is all mostly new with not a lot of seat time. Beautiful dash paint, upholstery and so on. I would call the interior a 9.5 out of a 10. The Vic has been gone through from front to back and needs nothing, it is 100% ready to go to a new home and enjoyed. This car runs and drives beautiful and again, its an absolute blast to drive. It floats down the road so nice. Super tight, goes straight down the road, no rattles or shimmy's and it will brake straight without pulling side to side. For an old heavy car, this thing will stop on a dime! No vibrations just a beautiful and fun cruiser. Its an absolute delight to drive and this car will set you apart at the car shows. Don't miss out on this opportunity to own an iconic car from the 50s era and at a price that is impossible to beat! 207-400-5326
