She has great road manners, and also a highly capable off-roader if you want to go explore. Very reliable, she's a great driver. Lots of recent work done. The Bronco continues to be at the top of the list for collectors and enthusiasts. The 2020 Bronco is just around the corner, and values should continue to rise as a newer generation becomes aware of one of Ford's best creations.
The metallic blue paint was just done and it shines beautifully. Countless hours went into the proper preparation of the body. The gaps are nice. There is no rust or rot. This Bronco came from Texas and you will appreciate how clean the metal is. The top was also stripped and cleaned, before being finished in Wimbledon White. All the rubber was replaced and the glass is in great shape. Tiny chip on windshield but not in line of sight, and certainly no reason to replace. The fenders were cut clean, and the new fiberglass flares are in perfect shape. Proper welting to prevent rubbing, and all new hardware in place. All of the trim is in great shape. Chrome bumpers shine nice. The finish is a pleasure to wipe down and polish. Its quite rewarding and you will get a lot of compliments on the color and the shine. All in all, the body and paint are very nice. Definitely show worthy, but not so perfect that you won't load up your friends and hit the trail.
The stance is just right. The proper suspension rise gives way to a BRAND NEW set of tires and wheels. BFG KO2 33x12.5r15 are a nice compliment to the truck. The ride is not too harsh, the wider tires provide a level of dampening and stability that makes long road trips far more desirable. Not to mention they also look bad ass, give the truck plenty of clearance, and are a proven winner in Baja. The Dana 44 is tried and true, and the Dana 20 transfer case is as reliable as anything out there. Short wheel base, 4x4, and ground clearance, you can go anywhere. Power Disc brakes up front provide plenty of stopping power. The power steering is silky smooth. A MUST for these trucks when maneuvering at low speeds.
The 302 is strong and healthy. The carb was just rebuilt and she fires up with ease. New plugs and electronic ignition provide crisp and clean dependability. It's mated to a BRAND NEW C4 automatic. The shift points are smooth. The dual exhaust has a powerful note, sounds awesome.
The interior features brand new carpet. The seats are in great shape. New quarter cards in the rear. The original headliner does not sag, but its not perfect. The dash is nice, a few aged stickers remain that could be removed with a heat gun and some elbow grease, I don't mind the current look. The radio is very old and does not work. Retractable belts are original. Its a nice interior, but again, its not so nice that you don't want to hop in and go!
NOTE: There is a spare tire carrier included with sale. It is painted black but there is no spare tire to go with it.
This is a great Bronco Explorer that can be daily driven. You can make upgrades and improvements while enjoying it. All the heavy lifting is done, little mods will make it your own.
