OVERALL
This roadster is currently registered in CA, as a 1929 Ford Model A Roadster. It comes with YOM plates, registered to the car (1929 Black and Yellow plates).I do have a clear title in my name and ready to be transferred. Vin Number clear and visible onthe frame.Registration/Plates are current and car is insured under Farmers Insurance
Everything shows to have been rebuild or new, at time of restoration. Older restoration but car is well taken care of.This is a stock Model A Roadster, not hotroded in any way.
Car runs and drives well, as a 1929 Model A should.I've driven it very little (maybe 100miles since I bought it) and previous owner, that did the restoration, also drove it only a few hundred miles.Everything in the car works such as lights, horn, fuel gauge. All systems show in good condition.
FRAME & DRIVE TRAIN
Shows to have been powder coated or painted black along with all the drive train. Please see undercarriage pictures to see current condition.
All drive train is original model A but not numbers matching.
Motor is original model A, but not numbers matching. I am told it was rebuild during restoration. It shows to be have been rebuilt and in good running condition.
Gas tank has original spark arrestor, hard to find item. All fuel lines from tank to carburetor are less than 20 miles old. Fuel filter was replaced new with Glass bowl style and carburetor was professionally rebuilt.
Original cast iron fuel bowl filter is still available and will come with the car.
EXTERIOR
Beautiful two tone paint job, green and black. with haystack wheels and pinstriping. Body belt-lines are a darker green. Top is tan and in good condition with rear glass window.
Paint is in good condition with nice gloss but not perfect. Chips and other conditions of age, do show.
See las picture for paint quality and issues.
BRAKES
Original mechanical brakes. They work well. Car stops, as a 90 year old car should.
INTERIOR
Tobacco Brown, Vinyl in great condition. Fully upholstered, including the rumble seat. New rubber mat was installed in the rumble floor
