This car was from an estate that the gentleman special ordered this car for himself with just what he wanted on it. We have the brochure he used to check off the items, the original order receipt, the original sales receipt, original owner's manual, protecto plate warranty plate, his maintenance receipts, and a whole bunch more that go with this wonderfully cared for car. The car has less than 71,000 original miles on it and it shows. They are only original once and this is as close as it gets to original! This car even has a Marti Report done on it. One of only 363 Torino Gt's built this way in 1970! The original "Build Sheet" from under the seat/carpet is with all the paperwork!! We have put together a book with all of the history surrounding this car and it's history. Even the original owners obituary!
This car was truly babied all of it's life. It even still has the passenger side "curb feelers" that people put on to warn them they were getting too close to the curbs when parking on the street. This car was ordered new as we said by the gentleman from a dealer in Burbank, California and the car resided there until we bought it almost 7 years ago. We also are in a dry climate and the car has been stored inside in a climate controlled shop. (a/c and heat) We had this cars Air Conditioning serviced, new radiator, Fan Clutch, Fan Belt, hoses, thermostat, and flush, for a cost of almost $1300. Blows nice and cold!! New Starter installed on it recently as shown. Brand new Interstate Battery within the last 30 days, car is always on a battery tender. New dual exhaust/mufflers from headers to tailpipe. Conservative great exhaust sound but not obnoxious.
This car has knee deep rubber on the Goodyear Wingfoot radial tires, we left the original "Dog Dish" hubcaps and trim rings on this car. You just don't see this anymore and very few came out this way. The guy was conservative but ordered this car tastefully! He installed a theft gadget that you can switch and it cuts power off to the coil and car won't start. I guess in Orange County California this car was quite a target for thievesback then, but nice to have it on the car. The cars paint appears to be of the lacquer factory style but has been polished to shine beautifully as seen in the many photos with reflections showing in the paint.
This car is rust free and we included many photos of the inside of the trunk near the hinges. Has original trunk mat in trunk. Sticker to change tire with jack under trunk lid still. Jack/wrench and new spare tire. He had the tail lights changed to the Factory Cobra Black style and original ones come with the car. The gentleman worked for Jet Propulsion Laboratories JPL/Nasa and his parking sticker still remains in the windshield. Engine looks just like it did from factory with air cleaner, decals saying "429 V8 4V". Car has new spark plugs and runs incredible.
The interior is all original and the seat on the driver's side does show some creases/wear as shown but no tears or issues. Rim blow horn on steering wheel works fine. Clock does not seem to want to work consistentlyso would not count on it. Look at your smart phone for the time anyway.
Hate to part with the car but need to make room. If you want an extremely well documented, original, rare, muscle car, with tons of life left, this is for you. Plus you get great looking car and thumbs up wherever you go! Seriously! Everyone notices this Batmobile looking car! Tons more to mention but can't remember it all right now. Be the third proud owner of this car!! Don't miss out on this car.
Has to be sold "as is" of course, no warranty. It is a used car. Shipping responsibility of buyer, but will assist on getting it on the truck. $500 deposit due after accepted deal. Rest of payment within 7 days by way of bank wire. No trades.
Thanks for looking!!
