1990 Ford Mustang Convertible
5.0L 7-Up Edition
This 1990 Mustang is in incredible shape. It's one of the finest, most well-kept examples of the few survivors from an extremely rare collection to begin with!. In 1990, Ford planned to team up with 7-Up to make a limited edition Mustang to market in conjunction with the NCAA men's final four. The cars were to be given away to winning contestants of a 7-Up sponsored Halftime Contest. Only 39 were planned to be made, and they'd all be optioned out the following way: 5.0L LX emerald green body, Oxford white leather & Oxford white top convertibles with A/C, power top, power locks, power windows, am/fm/cassette premium sound, cruise control, and power lumbar w/ the 15" aluminum GT "jet turbine" wheels. Ford already started production when the campaign fell through, so they decided to make a limited amount anyways, & market the limited edition in 1990 as the unofficial anniversary edition of mustang. Ford officially billed it as "Special edition package 562" on the window sticker.
Only 4,103 were made in total, and an even more rare 1,360 of them were produced with a 5-speed manual transmission like this one.
Aside from one very small scar on the convertible top (pictured), and the slightest bit of fade on the black, rubber rear mold, the car is in incredible condition! It drives 100% and could be a daily driver if you wanted it to be! The infamous 5.0 provides plenty of power, and has been babied since new. The car is COMPLETELY ORIGINAL including the 31k miles! Clean CarFax, no paintwork.
This amazing Fox-Body will NOT disappoint and will be an incredible, enjoyable, & drive-able addition to any collector's or enthusiast's garage!
A true and incredibly rare head turner in every way! A joy to drive and admire!

. I reserve the right to end the auction early at any time as the car is for sale locally as well. Offers to buy the car before the end of auction will be considered. Buyer is responsible for pick-up/shipping, but I am willing to help you however I can to help make logistics easier. I am local to the Reading, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and Lehigh Valley airports, and would even consider driving the car to you anywhere in the US for a fee comparable to a car transport service fee. Payment is accepted ONLY by cash or cashier's/bank check purchased in person at your local bank/lender branch. Thanks for checking out this impeccably kept piece of automotive and Americana history!
