Car description |
---|
1966 Ford Fairlane GT. 4 Speed transmission and power steering. This is an original "S" code car, restored several years ago and has never been out of town. Hardly ever driven. New floor pans, suspension, paint, and upholstery.
I would best describe this car as a very good driver. It's not a concours quality show car. Runs good and drives like a new car. I have removed the tri power and installed a single four barrel carburetor. The tri power goes with the car. The paint is nice in most places, but the clear coat is aged on the top of the rear fenders, the roof, and some on the deck lid.
The doors close very nice and all of the body fit lines are good. All lights and turn signals work. It has it's original am/fm radio. Heater works. The bumpers and door handles and bright work around the windows is very nice. The 390 hood emblems need a little work. The grill and headlight bezels are fine. All the glass is like new. The window rubber has all been replaced. The tires have had very few miles on them, but they are several years old and must be replaced. I have nothing of the mileage prior to restoration, but probably no more than 400 miles since then. If you are a bidder with less than 1 feedback, please call before bidding to avoid fake bids and scams.
Georgia does not title older vehicles. Comes with a Georgia Bill of Sale and registration. Car is currently tagged and insured. If you live in a state that requires a title, I can explain how to obtain one. The VIN number is6A40S278608. See picture of core support. I would recommend any serious bidder to call me on the phone and I will give you a complete and honest description of this vehicle while standing next to it. My phone number is (478) 231-4848 Eric. You can call me anytime. I am selling this car for a friend of mine who did the restoration. I've known this car for many years. I prefer a bank to bank transfer for payment. The deposit can be done through paypal if you wish.
