Car description

PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS, AS I HAVE TRIED TO GIVE AS MANY DETAILS AS POSSIBLE
Due to changing life circumstances (I'm now a caregiver for an Alzheimer's patient and can't be away from her in the garage working on the car), I have decided to sell my restomod project just prior to finishing - the photo of the blue car in the listing was my model. The new buyer can finish it exactly like he wants. I have not done anything that would prevent this becoming a restomod OR a Bullitt OR an Elanor OR a restoration to stock. This sale is for TWO COMPLETE 1967 MUSTANGS, plus an entire room full of new parts still in their boxes.
The first car is the Fastback. Its Marti Report, which goes with the car, shows that it was built in the San Jose plant on September 20, 1966, and equipped with the 289 V8, C4 Automatic, Power Steering, 2.79 Axle, and finished in Sauterne Gold metalic with a black bucket seat interior and Sport Deck rear seat. Sold new at West Valley Ford in Santa Clara, it eventually made its way to Idaho and then to Montana.
It has therefore spent its entire life in the dry west, free from the rust worm except where the carpet trapped moisture under the footwells. (These have all been cut out and patched, along with the top of the transmission tunnel where a cutout had been made for a manual shifter.) Having suffered a slight front fender-bender years ago, I had the front end straightened by a professional body shop prior to installation of a new radiator support. The entire body was then blasted down to bare metal prior to the engine compartment, suspension, and underside being sprayed with multiple coats of Nason semi-gloss Chassis Black. The interior of the car was cleaned with walnut media (the red is the factory primer showing, not rust). The car is ready to go to body and paint and the photos do a good job of showing the remaining work that needs to be done (mostly the rear corner dents, kinked taillight panel, and some old bondo that was taking too long for the blasting media to remove). The inner fenders, firewall, rockers, quarter panels, etc, are all FACTORY ORIGINAL AND RUST FREE. You are looking at a car that is rare precisely because it needs so little prior to paint. $5000.00 OF BODY PREP HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO. Additionally, you'll get all new sheetmetal (not shown in photos but still in boxes) as listed below: both doors, fenders, valances, hood, trunk lid, tail panel, etc are included. This is a complete car, not just a shell - and the shells are selling for $18,000 repro without a single thing extra.
My middle bedroom is stacked with all the parts that I ordered to complete this project. I have listed these below. $8000.00 IN PARTS ARE INCLUDED, NEW IN THE BOXES.
The second car is the Coupe. Sold new at Archie Cochran Ford in Billings, it has never been restored, but the guy I bought it from was moving in that direction. The 289 and C4 automatic had already been rebuilt, so I bought it as a parts car for the drivetrain, which has been cleaned and given one coat of Ford blue - ready to have the new intake manifold, headers, valve covers, etc installed.
The coupe body is rusty, but it is a complete original car that will offer a 'factory guide' when you re-assemble the fastback, as well as provide any extra parts needed. I will include a 302 and C6 in case you want to sell the coupe as a project to someone else when you're done with it. It also comes with a clean title. (The photo shows it on the trailer when I got it, but it is partially disassembled now.)
What new parts do you get with this package? All these:
Interior: Grant wood steering wheel, mount kit, firewall cover, door trim panel water shields, trunk filler boards, trunk mat, door scuff plates and emblems, trim screw set, black carpet set, carpet underlayment set, black rubber mat set, black upholstery set, black dash pad, black headliner, door beltline weatherstrip set, seat side trim, interior courtesy lights, door post seals, sun visor bracket, inside door handles, parking brake release handle, pedal pads, door lock knobs, door panels, turn signal lever, radio bezel, Retrosound RC-900C digital radio, front kickpanels for 6.5" speakers and set of 300 watt 2-way speakers, AT shift lever and cover assembly, fold-down seat latch set, brushed aluminum dash bezel and lens kit, dome lens, window crank handles
Exterior: new Dynacorn doors, fenders, tail panel, trunk lid, front valance, stone guard and GT rear valance w/ dual exhaust cutouts, chrome dual exhaust tips, headlight bucket assemblies and seals, both rear quarter panel extensions and seals, rear window seal and molding kit, windshield and rear window clip sets, trunk letter set, trunk latch striker plate front fender letter set, trunk lid molding, radiator support bumpers, new front and rear bumpers/guards/bolts and brackets, splash shields, gas tank and mounting set, windshield washer bag/hose kit/pedal pad, vent window seals, hood moldings, antenna, windshield molding set/seal, outside door handles, new door/trunk lock set, cowl seal, grill molding, rocker panel trim, rear view mirror, roof rail stainless, Scott Drake gas cap, white racing stripe kit, tail lamps and bezel kits, horse emblems

Plus: full set of original glass except for windshield, beautiful original hood with turn signal inserts plus a reproduction plain hood, aluminum radiator, front bucket seats and rear folding seat, rear plastic panels, and more, plus the Coupe.
If you want to build one of these, you'll first need to spend about $18K for an even halfway decent car. Then you'll strip it down and find it isn't as great as it looked, spend thousands to repair the hidden damage/rust, and be up to at least $25K. Then you'll buy all the parts I had to for another $8-10K, and you still don't have a rebuilt motor/tranny or parts car, and you had to do all the dirty work and have now spent what I'm asking. You'll say, "I should have just bought the fastback that guy had all ready to take to body and paint rather than mess around." I'VE DONE ALL THE CRAPPY WORK - YOU CAN DO ONLY THE FUN STUFF. It's not easy to get a car to this point - believe me. The fun part starts here, where you can come in.
There's nothing to hide on this car - you can be sure of what you're getting here, send it right off to your body man, have him paint it the way YOU want, and finish it YOUR way. How often can you buy a project at this stage, right before finishing? If you want to build a 67 Fastback, this is a unique opportunity.
For the cost of materials, I will prime the body shell in the product of the buyer's choice prior to shipping. Moreover, if the buyer doesn't want any part of this sale, I will keep whatever he doesn't want as long as I get in writing that he foregoes it. I am happy to answer any and all questions.
