Car description

1939 Ford Deluxe Tudor SedanHot Rod Built In 19521946 - 59AB Built with all the best of the best when it was rebuild for the car with extremely low miles was selected for them and built by H&H usingEddie Meyer HeadsThickstun 2x2 IntakeIsky 400Jr.CamshaftMercury CrankThe 39' Three Speed was built Zephyr Gears, (built. J. Mac personally). The original owner who also built this car into the incredible hot rod it was/is, sold the car to his good friend. Both were in declining health the car pretty much sat in that garage near San Bernardino area until like many cars like this one it was discovered by Richard Frienze who put her back on the road, the sold again to a friend where it received awards 2011 & 2014 at the GNRS, Primer Nats to name a couple.I reluctantly offer this wonderful 1939 Ford Tudor Deluxe Sedan. If your looking for a REAL hot rod......look NO further, this Ford was built in 1952 as a Hot Rod from an all original 1939 Ford that served as daily transportation! That's how most hot rods came to be if you really wanna know the skinny. Most were the grocery getters, the cars used to drive to work, school, etc., and terrorized the streets at night, usually adding a little to the income of nothing broke! This car runs beautifully, people follow it around when I enter a show, or cruise in, but most people are fooled and think all the hot rods were built using a roadster or thee window Coupes cleverly chopped. I love all these cars, truth is, most hot rods were the sleepers. The Tudor, The Fordors even, any car that didn't look like a hot rod, most certainly probably was. Even the factories in Detroit caught on to the sleeper look. Drive this one anywhere, it's loud, hot, smells like a hot rod.....if you dig the real thing this car is for you!If only dig the idea of these cars, you'll probably want a street rod.A NOTE ABOUT THE PICSSome of the pictures have different air cleaners, and maybe accessories on the motor, The last picture these are the accessories currently on the engine, such as the finned generator cover. I have extras that I will offer for sale to the buyer. Thanks
