I am selling a very clean 1969 Ford Fairlane 500 Hardtop Coupe due to my wife being pregnant with our third child.I bought this car from a California builder who has restored this car and had it professionally painted a couple of years ago Metallic Silver with two black racing stripes. The car has a very clean body (no dents) with little to no rust. The trunk is straight and has no rust as you can see in the picture.
The interior has brand new bench seats, new seat belts, new door panels, all gauges work including RPM gauge. All the lights work and all windows roll up and down perfectly. It has a standard CD player with Kenwood 6x9 speakers.
The engine is a 302 V8 that has AFR Racing Cylinder heads (Airflow Research), which retail for $2200. The engine also has Holley carbs, Edelbrock RPM Air Gap Intake Manifold, upgraded pistons/rods, big cams, 3 speed transmission with B&M shifter, upgraded coil and plugs, Cobra valve covers and air cleaner, and Summit Electric Brake vacuum pump. The car has custom dual exhaust that sounds amazing. The car runs really good and starts up very easily.
Wheels: Car comes with nice American Racing Mach 1 rims with Cooper Cobra Radial G/T Tires.
Some things that can be upgraded are 1) brakes - these are factory disk brakes that are vacuum powered, which work but can be upgraded. 2) Power-steering could be added. 3) Door trim and seals need to be replaced as water comes through during car wash. 4) A/C can be added although not recommended since this car has a race engine.
This is a really good looking car that gets a lot of attention and the car looks and runs excellent. The pictures of the car speak for itself, but if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. This car does have normal wear and tear and we highly encourage buyers to send an inspector. Before bidding, please read this ad carefully and review all pictures thoroughly. This car is being sold as-is with no warranty. The registration is current and I have a clean California Title to this vehicle. Shipping and Transport will be at buyers expense and I am willing to pick up buyer at San Diego Airport or work with their shipping company if needed.

Sorry, I forgot to mention in the ad that the trunk springs were bad, so the trunk needs to be propped with a pole to stay open, or new springs will be needed.
