NO TITLE! Was purchased without a title with the intent of creating a somewhat original example and obtaining a title through a title company.
VIN Number taken from the top of the transmission. No way to know for sure if it matches the frame. I have not found that number on the frame.
* Be sure to check title laws and regulations for your state before you bid!
Health issues force sale as is. I will provide a bill of sale that is all.
For sale is 1 1946 Ford Sedan Delivery. Engine Is a small block Chevrolet 305 v8 (originally flathead V8) was running a few years ago. The engine is mated up to the original transmission by aftermarket gm to ford adapter. The clutch and original gearshift are connected. There is a radiator(not original) and electric fan under the hood(not connected). Exhaust system includes manifolds and short pipe on the driver side only. Someone has tried to do metal repairs on the inside and outside of the body but there will have to be allot more work done. Or create your own rat rod. The frame is solid I have several pictures and it is original. Front and rear suspension is original as is the enclosed driveshaft and rear differential. The original fuel tank is inside and looks good. The doors are solid except for the bottom of the drivers door. The only glass in the vehicle is the passenger side windshield and the passenger door. Both window regulators work and are not rusted. There's a lot of trim that goes with the vehicle shown in the pictures on the blue tarp. Both bumpers included(rear bumper is rough). The rear fenders look like they're from a different model ford (possibly 46 ford passenger car)as they do stick out more than the factory fenders. Body is solid including firewall, most of the doors, fenders, roof and hood. The floor needs to be completely restored. Metal has been installed in the floor but is piece meal work. Metal was also installed over openings cut in the sides of the cargo area (presumably to create windows).
THIS IS A MAJOR PROJECT! IT IS NOT A VEHICLE YOU CAN PURCHASE AND DRIVE. UNLESS YOU ARE VERY GOOD AT MECHANICAL RESTORATION OR PLAN TO HAVE PROFESSIONALS ASSIST YOU IN MAKING THIS A FUNCTIONING VEHICLE, OR YOU PLAN TO USE IT FOR PARTS ONLY, DO NOT BID!
Send me ALL of your questions before you bid!
NO TITLE! Never had one, I have not yet researched how or where to get one. That I leave to you!
