Hello, I am selling my very nice 1988 convertible LX mustang . It does have some mods . .GT40 Heads .polished aftermarket headers .aftermarket 5.0 h.o intake .after market exhaust system .cold air intake with filter .after market temperature gauge . Does have the original pony wheels on it . May be forgetting more but it sounds very mean nice grumble and idle to the car . will miss it just looking for something different . Does have a mileage discrepancy but the last it was at was 115,000 something . The body of this car is in very great condition . The underbody is in awesome shape! The shock towers are in very good condition no rust there . This engine and transmission is very healthy sounding! . The speedometer does not work not sure why it was like that when I purchased it . Every other gauge does work though . I would say the steering column may need attention in the next few years nothing major right now though . theres easily 3-4k stuck under the hood of this car . .The Tan convertible top is in great shape as well . The motor of the top does work to an extent but does need a budge here and there . There are no leaks with this car at all . It does use a little break fluid here and there but not much . This is a great healthy sounding car! It sounds very good i actually had someone ask me if there was a coyote in it . I laughed at that one and said no just aftermarket bolt ons . Dont know exactly what kind of exhaust but they are big exhaust for air flow very nice . THAT MUST OF BEEN YEARS AGO CAUSE ON THE CLEAN TITLE IS SAYS NO LIEN HOLD AT ALL IT IS A CLEAN TITLE .
On Jul-23-19 at 08:46:40 PDT, seller added the following information:ALSO THERE THE SPEEDO DOES NOT WORK ALL OTHER GAUGES DO THOUGH . WHICH IS WHY IN THE AUTO REPORT IT HAS THE RED SIGNAL JUST OVER THE MILEAGE! I HAVE HAD NO ISSUES WITH THIS CAR, THIS IS A CLEAN CAR FOR BEING ALMOST 32 YEARS OLD!
