Car description |
---|
1978 Ford F-150 Ranger powered by a 400M with 404HP and a automatic transmission. This truck was bought brand new off the showroom floor by my grandfather and given to me after his passing in 2003. It has a little over 100k miles on the truck and around 2k on the motor and transmission. I had Ed Nereaux Racing out of Post Falls Idaho build the motor and it does not disappoint, last dyno was 404Hp. I have included a video of the motor on the dyno. The Hedman Headers and 3" exhaust complete the package to give it a wonderful sound and tons of power. The transmission and transfer case were gone through at the same time. Other new parts include the radiator, hoses, belts, battery, coil and other electronics, water pump, master cylinder, radio and speakers. I recently took out the main fuel tank flushed it and reinstalled. The paint is original. It has duel tanks and a sliding cab window. Grandpa said it was built with a high output heater and ordered by someone wanting to take it to Alaska when he backed out my grandfather jumped on it. The interior is original and it shows. The interior metal and paint is near perfect but the dash, seat and floor covering is not. I am hoping this truck goes to someone who will love and care for it as much as our family has. I am only selling this truck because my grandfather was an aviator and I am getting my pilots license with the money.
