1993 Ford Mustang LX SSP ex Florida Highway Patrol

Retired Florida Highway Patrol 1993 Mustang SSP. Used inservice as unit 1409 until 1997 then auctioned to private ownership. (I have original key stamped 1409)
This car has been given an extensive exterior and interior restoration back to inservice specs and is gorgeous. Hard to find in this condition with as many NOS parts that have been installed.
Car has no accident history and has both Ssp core support buck tags in place as well as the drivers door sticker. Also documented in the SSP registry.
The body was stripped to bare metal and repainted the correct way with all trim, quarter windows and doors/fenders off in the correct factory color black/tan in basecoat /clearcoat.The way the paint shows is how Ford manufactured it for the Patrol.The quality of the paint is excellent. It cost over 6k a few years ago when it was done(have receipt)All jam areas have been redone with no paint slop or overspray.All trim has either been refinished or replaced. All new NOS emblems including the original lighter hue blue ovals. Machined 10 hole rims have been refinished and wear new Cooper 225/60/15 tires.Windshield has been replaced. Tailights are OEM that have been polished and look new. All new front lights. Correct paint break pinstripe. Quarter window trim looks new.The body panels/black paint are super straight and rust free.

Interior looks as new. All seats have been reupholstered in the correct oem material that I purchased at SMS fabrics and had my trim shop sew them. New drivers side foam. Leather steering wheel is NOS and has never been really used. NOS shift knob, NOS opal armrest pad, NOS turn signal lever. Correct 93 am/fm radio.All plastics were redyed. Headliner is new. Carpet is a new ACC mass back. Door panel map pockets were made with the correct grain vinyl by my trim guy. New package tray.Trunkmat and trunk liners look new.
Equipment is all authentic and correct for this car as used by FHP in early 90's.Jetsonic lightbar is the correct JS with outboard takedowns and synced flashers. It was shipped from Florida and came off a retired FHP car. All equipment has been tested (except Motorola radio) and does wor, but per eBay rules is not hooked up!Due to paint job this car is illegal to drive in the state of Florida!!!'

Mechanically tires are new. Maybe 100 miles of use. Heater core and ac evap core have been replaced. H pipe was also replaced with a NOS one. Recent plugs/wires.Car runs and drives with no issues. I only take it to car shows.Ac does need charged.What I would do next is some motor compartment detailing.
I am super picky and have redone quite a few of these Ssp cars over the past 13 years. I strive for them to be authentic and proper as possible. This was built with a good bit of super hard to find NOS parts. I also have a set of 4 black powdercoated 10 hole wheels also with new tires available that buyer can choose instead of the machined wheels currently on the car. The earlier SSP's used the black 10 holes wheels and in my opinion looks better for the cop car look but is not correct for the 1993 model year!
