This truck is a 1936 Ford replica. It is a fiberglass body. fenders and running boards mounted on a 2002 Ford Ranger chassis. The kit was sold by Thoroughbred Coach builders. I built the truck from 2008-2010 and have recently upgraded the engine and transmission and finished off some of the details like the bed and getting the wiring cleaned up. The kit came with power windows built in which I have working. Switches are mounted in header panel over windshield. This panel also covers the Mighty Wiper windshield wiper. The seat is a mexican blanket installed over new foam on a cut down mini truck seat. It is not just draped over. there are hog rings holding it on. Soft and comfy. Three point seatbelts installed. Engine is a 1984 Chevy 305 I bought complete at an auction and have never torn apart. Carburetor is a quadrajet that I put a gasket kit into but have not tried to fine tune. HEI ignition with new vacuum advance canister. Fenderwell headers running into mufflers under the running boards exiting right in front of rear wheels. Runs well but could use some fine tuning. Transmission is a TH 350 that I rebuilt a couple of years ago. Shifts fine. Transmission cooler mounted under cab on frame. The shifter is a Lokar shifter with their LED indicator which is wired and operational. Bed is a custom built frame 2" x 2" square tubing frame and finished lumber on top. Battery is under passenger side of bed with an access door built into the bed. The spare tire is under the back of the bed like a stock Ranger and the original jack. lug wrench and mount are behind the seat. along with a fire extinguisher. I have installed a power brake booster and master cylinder. along with new front brake lines. All this is connected to the stock Ranger front disc brakes and rear drums. Wheels are steel. hubcaps are 1960s Plymouth caps because they fit and didn't have any logos on them. The dash board is cut down from a 1939 Plymouth dash and filled. The gauge is a 5 in 1 from Haneline. Oil pressure. water temp. volts. and gas gauge all work. I also have installed a tachometer right in front of the Grant steering wheel. Steering column is a swap meet find. Horn. turn signals and hazard lights all work as they should. Headlight switch is in the center and is a four position switch (off-park-low-high). The other switch is for the heater. which works. I found it at a swap meet and changed the motor out. Single speed blower. but it gets the job done. Glove box closes and opens. Woodgrained glove box lid. This is a solid little truck. The inside is not finished. the paint is not show quality. It's fun. gets lots of positive comments. and rides pretty well. The title is a 2010 replica title because that's when I went through the process of getting a title. Selling it as is with no warranty. Email any questions and I will write you back.
