FOR SALE IS MY 1970 BOSS 302 ONE OF 173 MADE IN 1970 WITH WHITE CORINTHIAN VINYL INTERIOR. AS IN ALL MY AUCTIONS I WILL LIST EVERY KNOW FLAW AND SHOW PICTURES OF EVERY DETAIL. THIS CAR HAS NOTHING TO HIDE. THIS BOSS NO LONGER HAS ITS ORIGINAL ENGINE OR TRANS IT WAS REPLACED IN THE LATE 80 WITH A DOAE-L 4 BOLT MAIN 351C THAT WAS REBUILT IN THE LAST 3000 MILES AND TREATED TO FORGED 10. 5 TO 1 TRW PISTONS. ALL NEW BEARINGS. HIGH FLOW OIL PUMP. NEW SOLID LIFTER CAM . 545 LIFT. NEW VALVE JOB. MOTOR RUNS GREAT AND SOUND LIKE A BOSS SHOULD. THE ORIGINAL HOOD WAS CUT TO FIT A FACTORY FORD OEM SHAKER NOT A REPO. WHILE THE MOTOR WAS REBUILT A NEW FLY WHEEL AND CLUTCH WERE INSTALLED. THE FRONT SUSPENSION WAS ALSO COMPLETE REBUILT WITH ALL NEW BALL JOINTS. TIE ROD ENDS. BUSHINGS. SHOCKS AND SPRINGS. THE BODY IS AN OLDER REPAINT BUT STILL SHINES VERY NICE WITH NO ROT AND ONLY A SMALL AREA OF FILLER ABOVE THE DRIVERS SIDE WHEEL WELL I BELIEVE DUE TO THE WHEEL LIP BEING PERFECT THAT IT WAS SOME SORT OF DENT THAT WAS REPAIRED. THE PASSANGER SIDE WHEEL WELL HAS 1 SMALL SPOT OF FILLER ONLY AROUND 2 INCHES LONG ONCE AGAIN LOOKS TO BE A BODY REPAIR FROM A DENT NOT ROT. THE ROCKERS. FENDERS WHICH ARE ORIGINAL ROLLED LIP BOSS FENDERS. COWL. DOORS. AND TRUNK AREA AS WELL AS LIP ARE PERFECT. NO RUST OR REPAIR EVER. THE APRONS ARE PERFECT AS WELL AS THE HOOD. THE FRAME RAILS ARE IN UNREAL SHAPE. UNLIKE OTHER CAR YOU WILL SEE FOR SALE NO NEED TO HIDE THE BOTTOM OF THIS CAR IT IS A ROCK SOLID AS THEY COME. THIS CAR SPENT MOST OF ITS LIFE IN ALABAMA I AM SURE THIS HAS ALOT TO DO WITH THE CONDITION OF THE BODY. THE TORQUE BOXES FRON AND REAR ARE PERFECT AND ALL THRU THE BOTTOM OF THE CAR YOU CAN SEE RED OXIDE PRIMER WHERE THE THIN COAT OF WHAT I AM SURE IS FACTORY UNDERCOATING HAS BEEN SCRAPED OR WORN OFF. THE FLOORS AND TUNNEL ARE IN THE SAME CONDITION. I HAVE SPENT ALOT OF TIME TALKING ABOUT THE BODY BECAUSE THIS IS ONE OF THE HIGH POINTS OF THIS CAR. FEW MUSTANGS FROM 1970 ARE STILL IN THIS KIND OF SHAPE. THE INTERIOR IS VERY NICE AND MOSTLY ORIGINAL. NEW CARPET AND HEADLINER WERE INSTALLED AND THE ORIGINAL DOORPANNELS WERE SENT OUT IN THE LATE 80S TO HAVE NEW CARPET INSTALLED. THE CAR NOW HAS A WORKING RIM BLOW WHEEL AND A FACTORY AM/FM RADIO THESE TWO OPTIONS DID NOT COME ON THE CAR FROM THE FACTORY. THE CAR RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL SPORT SLATS AS WELL AS ITS ORIGINAL SPACE SAVER SPARE AND TIRE INFLATOR. ALL GAUGES AND TACH WORK AS WELL AS ALL LIGHTS. TURN SIGNALS. WIPERS AND HEATER. THE CAR STILL HAS ITS TRACTION LOK 3. 5 REAR AXEL AND ORIGINAL REAR DECK SPOILER. THE STANDARD WHEELS WERE REPLACED WITH MAGNUM 500S WHICH ARE NOT OEM. I ALSO HAVE FOR SALE A SERVICE REPLACEMENT LONG BLOCK DIZE-6015 MOTOR THAT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO THE WINNER OF THE AUCTION AT AN ADDITIONAL COST.
