Hello
You are bidding on a Los Angeles 1969 Mustang fastback project. It came from California and has always been a west coast car.It was originally equipped with a 6 cylinder, 3 speed manual transmission and power steering. It has been off the road since 91 and has been stored in a barn.
Door tag reads..
Body 63A Color 6 Trim 2B Date 18F DSO 71 Axle 6 Trans 1Condition is as follows..
Body:What has not been sanded down to metal looks to be original paint so there is no hidden issues, rust or previous body damage. Other than the hood and lower valance, all panels are original to the car. Shock towers, cowl, torque boxes, floors, trunk extensions, window channels, dash, battery tray, gutters, trunk extensions, quarter panels, etc, do NOT have the typical rust associated with these early Mustangs. Pictures will show just how solid this car really is. Rust is limited to lower door corners, one small spot just starting on the lower drivers rear wheel well, and a spot just forward of the same wheel well, that`s it! No major panel replacement necessary. Lower passengers side of the radiator support could use a light pull to straighten from a previous minor accident, however,Shock towers, torque boxes and frame rails are all straight and true. Doors open and close/fit good, decklid does as well. Window regulators are in working order, all glass and window trim is in good shape, but windshield needs replaced.Overall, this body is extremely solid and is an excellent platform for restoration.
Potential buyers:Feel free to contact me any time BEFORE the end of auction at (530) 307-8973, and I will gladly answer any questions. Also, I reserve the right to end auction at any time before scheduled end of auction as I also have the car for sale locally.ThanksLarry
