Car description

For sale: 1977 F150 Custom with free wheeling package ( A TRUE COPY OF MAGIZINE SALES PICTURE as seen in pictures below ). It has brand new good year wrangler tires, and a new turn signal switch assembly. It was sold on 08/24/77 in Havre Montana. you can see that all the options are still with the truck except the roll bar. At some time it was taken out and never put back in. The engine was rebuilt in 1991 and trans was rebuilt in 1997. I have all the receipts for this, Some time in the early 2000 the rear end was rebuilt and so was the steering gear and a new steering rag joint added, the truck drives straight and true. if wanted I can send you a video of it driving just ask. I am impress how well the 351 runs . Most of these trucks came with 302 engines and its hard to find 351 trucks. Also included in the pictures is the Marti report. A very uncommon and unique truck also fire wall tag and box tag present .

Exterior: Original paint with great patina and decals. In my book it needs a paint job and new decals but its a great driver and drives straight . Does have a little rust on the drivers side below tail light and above the wheel. that is only rust. cab floors, cab mounts, are rust free. have a brand new carpet.

Interior: Fair condition, passable for a driver, no rodent damage. Gauges, lights, wipers, heater, etc working. New turn signal switch, Dashpad in good shape and is cracked. AM Radio Glass is good .

Mechanical: Starts, runs, and drives. 351 engine is very strong with good oil pressure and was upgraded with an aluminum intake and 600 Holley. Pulls smooth with no noise, smoke, or major leaks. Mileage shows 70k, not sure if that's accurate or not. Since getting it running, I’ve put perhaps 25 miles on it around town. Both fuel tanks work., old trucks need work and if you've never owned an old rig, adjust your expectations accordingly but this is a very solid rig that you can use now and paint later.

Pricing/Misc: If you're looking for a minty survivor, this isn't your rig. If you want a complete running and driving honest original that you can drive while restoring, this could be for you. Truck is open to offers . If you’ve been looking, you already know that prices on early Broncos have gotten crazy. Nice survivors are $10-14K and up, I personally sold a decent survivor last year right here on eBay for $8500 This truck runs and drives, but it isn’t ready for a long trip, so flying in and driving it home is out. Reasonable transport is available, I will drive it to meet your transporter and help load it. Title is clea, buyer will need to get insurance upon purchase . Truck can stay here for 30 days, after that $100/month storage will be due.

****Shipping will be from Great Fall, MT. I-15 transport is reasonable. Zip code for shipping quote use 59404*****
