1964 Ford Falcon 289 HIPO

For Sale Rare !! NOSTALGIA ! 1964 Falcon with a HI PO 289 !!!

Hi here is a Rare! find Nostalgia 1964 old school Falcon this is getting harder to find today anymore this was stored away since 1979 this is not a barn find this car was like a time capsule under cover I found it through a friend who knew about the car for years I got the lead I could not pass it up then purchased the car. The car was raced back in the early days then was street driven until it was stored away in around 1979 among many other cars in the collection but only this one was for sale. The car was originally from Arizona dry state the body was never in salt & the undercarriage and floor pans are rust free it was rust proofed when it was new through out the floor pans & doors rock solid for being 50+ years old. This is how I got the Falcon as it sits now in satin black looks mean as it sits today with a great stance with lot's of patina through out. All door gaps perfect the doors close just like the did back 55yrs ago just a good looking car and you don't find them like this anymore you can drive it the way it is or take it to the next level and paint it.
The previous owner over the last couple of years started to restore it back to what it once was and looks like today all updated wiring harness through out all lights gauges work new brakes, lines and hardware & dual master cylinder that work excellent and stops good. All chrome was cleaned and polished and some new chrome was added and all is present and in mint shape.
Interior was all updated with new door panel, carpet with sound deadener through ou, sill plate, gauges, and dash which was detailed and painted unfortunately the original seats where long gone and head liner and door seals needs to be done as well have all the bows for it and extra parts as well to go with car. Wipe, radio, rear seat, and heater delete that is how it was back in the day when you raced these cars that was the thing to do back then. The heater can be added very easily with what they have today such as vintage air kit or universal heater box you can purchase on eBay cheap !.
This Falcon has a RARE!!1965 HI PO 289 short block K code C5AE-6015-E all new was rebuilt a couple of years ago with all good parts to factory spec's less then 100 miles on it since rebuilt runs and sounds perfect have video of the car running. All number's are correct by the block under starter this engine by itself are super rare HARD TO FIND !! And is worth money !! today . The heads where replaced with world product steel heads from Summit racing and roller rocker where added with a hydrologic HEALTHY !! sounding cam and hooker headers, also a heavy duty 4 core radiator. Lots of nice goodies ALL THE HIGH PERFORMANCE HARD STUFF DONE !! that would cost you a lot of time and money to do a stock Falcon from scratch today and was built to be street friendly and the best part of all no oil leaks what so ever.
Trans is a C-4 all new rebuilt heavy clutches and a shit kit with a 2800 Stall converter standard shift pattern new drive shaft. The Falcon has a 9'' FORD with 430 gears heavy duty factory axles with old school Lakewood lift bars super cool for its time back in the day just don't see that any more super cool look.
The Falcon is just a rare find and so cool the car rear suspension was professionally set up back some years ago with mini tubs and the quarter lips where removed and shaved flat professionally done to keep that factory stock look without altering the body to keep it original looking and keep that Falcon stance super hard to tell. The Falcon will will fit up to a 10'' slick now has 28x 9'' slicks under the car looks factory the way they did it super nice job.
Now as for the Falcon it is a tun key car all the hard stuff was done really no miles on the car since rebuilt even though it sat for a few years there are just a few miles on the car since owned . I only driven up and down my drive and down the street short distance it just needs find tuning and go over some things from sitting and then you are ready to go out to cruise . This Falcon is not a show car or perfect and shows patina through out again no rust !! but super nice at the same time.The Falcon has great potential this is a lot of car for the money there is a lot more money in the car then my set reserve price to build today super deal. The reason for sale have to many cars and no time hate to let it go one of a kind come and look at it for what I am asking no disappointments my feed back and my long standing time with eBay my account speaks for itself.
