Very clean low mile85 Ford Bronco XLT5.8 liter 351 4 BL V-8 withautomatic transmission for sale!
This clean and solid bronco spent the majority of its life in the Seattle WA area and currently resides in Minnesota, but has never been driven in a MN winter. This Bronco features power windows and locks, working rear window dash and key switch, warn manual locking hubs, 31X10.50X15 all terrain tires with only a couple thousand miles on them, and an extremely clean original interior. This Bronco had aluminum wheels added (likely in the 90's), along with a CB Radio, trailer brake controller, and it even comes equipped with an antennae and microphone for your Motorola bag phone!
The bronco was painted a light blue color that blows the old powder blue color out of the water. It is a light blue with almost a hint of silver in it. The paint is in great shape, and was done well. It has 2 small bubbles, that haven't changed in years, at the bottom corner at the back side of the drivers door. The painter chose to use a flexible sealant in places like the gutters and joints of panels inside door frames to keep the paint from cracking like you see in many of the broncos.
I have not had the top off, and it appears to have no leaks and the gaskets are in great shape. Many window gaskets have been replaced including the bottom set on the tailgate. The underside still has some of it's original undercoating in place and only the lightest surface rust in places that any rubbing occurs (doors contacting gaskets, undercarriage, etc.) All lights work, including the dimmer switch on the floor. The doors shut with a solid thunk and close tightly and securely. The window glass is all in great shape, the rear window has some vertical light scratches likely from dirt in the gaskets as it went up and down. This bronco is a reliable and great running and driving rig! It starts and idles immediately, two pumps of the accelerator when cold, and when it's warm it fires immediately when you turn the key. It drives straight and effortlessly down the road and shifts cleanly and is pretty quiet for an 80s vehicle! I am not an aggressive driver, and treat it more like the old gal she is rather than a race car. It has not been an off road vehicle and it shows. The odometer reads 62,852 miles, and I believe that to be accurate based on the condition of the interior, the engine, undercarriage, etc., and the dealership I bought it from near Seattle sold it to me stating the mileage was accurate and actual. See all my pics in the description (if I am able to get that to work), . I believe I am the 3rd owner.
Items recently replaced:Interstate BatteryAll Terrain TiresFuel sending unitWindow gasketsEngine oil and premium filterRear side window chrome trim
Items to note:Cruise control doesn't engage, I have not investigated the cause.Right turn signal doesn't automatically cancel (must be canceled manually, but the left works fine. The air pump has a squeak when the engine is running. There is minor sun fading to the wood grain dash and gauges and I believe the sun fading overall was the reason it was repainted. There is a hole on the top center dash. That spot is commonly cracked or broke due to its design. It is a center vent that becomes brittle due to its exposure to sun, and thin spacing between holes.I will include an engine oil pan gasket, I thought I may want to replace it due to light seepage on the oil pan but after investigating further I found many of the bolts just needed to be tightened slightly and the seeping appears to have quit. It has been sitting on my epoxy painted garage floor in one spot for 2 weeks without a drip of anything! Selling due to lack of use, and changing family activities.
You must pick it up, or arrange and pay for shipping. I will do everything necessary to help either way to make sure it is a smooth and efficient sale. $500 deposit due within 24 hours by the winning bidder. Please contact me during the daytime at 218-380-9840 with questions.
