Car description |

No Reserve. This is a super nice car; it is an all original numbers matching car with minimal exceptions. It was off the road for forty plus years, but recently is back on and running great. To get it back on the road, the tank was cleaned, the fuel lines were replaced, the front floor mat, spark plug wires and mild tune up stuff like the points, new battery etc... but other than those minor upgrades the car is original down to most of the nuts, bolts and screws.
The top is tender, but goes up and down and just handled 50+ MPH going down a back road this morning when I drove it down town to take these photos. The car drives surprisingly well, is super smooth and the best part is that it is easy to see what is there, the car speaks for itself as it is in really, really good original shape with no rot or rust.
It has the opera side metal that goes between the fender and hoods and those are original too, I just had them off because I think it looks better without them. The tires are brand new all the way around (as in last week and less then 20 miles on them. I was going to wash them to get the colored soap off the wide whites) and also wash the car, before I took the photos, but it being father's day I forgot. It does come with the 50 year old cig butts in the ash tray, does not come with the lucky rabbits foot hanging from the glove box, but other than that what you see is what you get. .
I WILL SELL THIS CAR LOCALY, I WILL END THE AUCTION EARLY IF SOMEONE HAS CA$H and I am open to trades WITH CASH... no boats, or trailers or motorhomes, but would entertain an old Hard Tail or springer Harleys or Indians or true FORD period correct TRADITIONAL hot rods. I am not into rat rods at all, just original 50's or earlier pre-war PURE hotrods and CASH.
I can store if for you while you arrange shipping.
As is no warranty and no refunds, so please don't buy the car if you don't have the means to pay for it. If you do win the auction, please know the expectation is that you will buy it. No returns on your deposit.
