Car description |

Really clean & neat Brass era Ford Runabout project, Frame off restoration started by previous owner who lost interest. I was able to get it assembled and running, Has a good strong professionally original rebuilt engine with re-bored pistons and one-piece valves. Has a water-jacket repair in the back but doesn't leak. All new wiring, rebuilt iginition coils and electrical system with hidden battery inside running-board box to help start. No knock or smoke. Brand new hoses and brassworks radiator runs cool. Good tires and tubes that hold air perfectly. Body was re-wooded and door, which is off, comes with car. Complete with brand new upholstery and seat springs. Has an earlier styled Runabout roof that raises and lowers. Safety glass and new brass channel in restored windshield. Good transmission bands as well.
Body was professionally blasted, cleaned and primed and is now ready for final body work and paint- with the aluminum hood. Has some seams that need some metalwork and some final fitting work. Gas tank and steel fuel line are clean and has a rebuilt brass 1915 Holley carburetor from a local T club. I have not put the car on the road because it isn't registered, only started in garage and I am not good at cranking it. This beaut is ready for someone to finish her off. I am moving on to another project for summer. Has a clean and open title for new owner.
This is not a 100 point winner as all cars over a century old will often have later and newer parts added to it, but if you want a brass era sporty Runabout, then this car can be yours at an affordable price. Winner to pay $500 deposit within 24 hours and balance due before taking car. Text questions to 630-935-8561. Overall a sharp little Model T still in the brass era of motoring. Thanks for looking and please ask all questions before bidding.
