Nostalgic family wagon with facing rear jumpseat
I believe the miles to be correct at 42,202 (this is according to the previous owner)
So many sellers on ebay won't list all the bad but are quick to list the good.I want a potential buyer to know what they're getting
460 engine, true dual exhaust, head-turner, attractive car in running/driving order
BAD:
cannot get the rear tailgate open1 rust spot on lower passenger door (see pic)couple dings on hood (see pic)"wood" effect has cracks throughout (see pic)molding has peeling clearcoat throughout (see pic)tears on drivers seat (see pic)carpet under drivers feet was patched (see pic)cracks on dash (see pic)steering wheel has wear, has a coverold tires but all hold airRear compartment has a tear on the vinyl behind the jumpseathide-a-way headlights do not come up (have to be tied up)brand new carburetor (it was recently suggested that there was a vacuum leakor maybeneeds both a vacuum leak fixed and carburetor adjusted)it has mostly set for 2 years and driven maybe 300 miles but still gets up and goes, but does run rich or perhaps vacuum leak
GOOD:
professionally painted a year ago (very close to original color but has metallic)solid carno cracks in glassNaugahyde seats in amazing conditionnew headlinernew alternator (see pic)new starter solenoid (see pic)new Motorcraft 4 barrel carburetor with less than 100 miles on it (see pic)no exhaust leaksa/c works - heat worksnothing leaks underneathchrome tips on dual exhaust pipesreceiver hitchluggage rackNice rear facing seats, fold downEntire back folds down for haulingnice riding car, smooth, strong powershifts smooth, temperature is normal, quiet engine
The big body wagons are either priced out of sight or not so good of shape. Here is a dandy that just looks stunning going down the road
Starts up and drives smooth down the highway
