I ma selling my 1963 Ranch wagon 289 V8 with Manual 4 speed transmission. This car has a exceptionally clean and straight body. All factory seams and pinch welds look clean. Original floors are clean and straight. Factory rockers, wheel wells and door seams all look clean and original. The hood is all steel including the teardrop cowl.At some point someone shaved the door handles off the rear doors. The handles come with the car and I'm sure could be returned to original. The paint is old and chalky, but I started buffing some of it and it cleans up excellent. I cut and buffed the top of both front fenders and they look perfect.Rear tailgate window rolls up and down with no issues.Interior is Beautifully restored (see pics)289 starts first try and runs excellent. 4 speed transmission shifts great, clutch is excellent. Brakes work as well. There is a lifter noise that doesn't seem to be getting any worse but its not going away. I also had planned to switch to a electric fan so I removed the mechanical fan. I suspect someone changed the cam and didn't match up the parts well. I had planned to return the car to a stock spec cam, but have too many projects on my plate right now.The car starts and idles excellent. I would not drive the car any distance until the lifter noise is sorted out to avoid any damage.Wheels and tires are newer with hardly any miles on themPlease feel free to message me with any questions or for additional pictures of any areas.I can assist with coordinating shipping for out of area buyers.
