Description
1989 F-250 XLT Lariat with 137280 miles. Original paint, overall excellent body with a couple bangs and scrapes. The original owner put 119000 miles on it and I added the rest during the last 3 years. This was a tow vehicle for my 2000 Sunnybrook fifth wheel--I bought both the truck and trailer together.
It has the 7.4L EFI gas engine with automatic transmission. New brakes, master cylinder, fan clutch, starter, heater core, passenger window motor, and windshield washer motor. The original paint is in excellent shape and the only rust spot it had was repaired two years ago (I had a deer run into the left side and the door and rear quarter panel needed to be replaced).
The truck starts and runs great--I just towed the fifth wheel for nearly 10K miles in the last 7 months with no problems. It pulls strong with an 8K lb. trailer.
It is a 30 year old vehicle, though, and has it's share of drips and noises. Strong engine and transmission. The interior is original and shows wear, especially in the seats (I'd suggest some covers).
I bought a new truck to pull my trailer, so I'm offering this to someone who will enjoy a good looking vintage tow vehicle or work truck.
