86 Mustang LX coupe 2R red 5.0 auto rust free 1 of 788 Marti report

86 Coupe factory V8 Automatic. This is a very stock original car. Engine and transmission were rebuilt by the previous owner and have under 50K on both. The car was originally from NC and then Washington state so she came to us in S Florida completely rust free. No A pillar issues, bottoms of doors and trunk lid are clean, floorpans are amazing. Mufflers have been replaced with flowmasters and the car has pony wheels and rear disc brakes from a thunderbird- that the extent of the modifications. Runs and drives exceptionally well, transmission shiftsbetter thannew. Paint has been completely gone over and shows incredibly well, it is more red than the original Jalapena, bright buffed and straight! Carfax shows a visit to a shop after an accident in 93 and that is where we assume the paint was changed to a more modern color. Interior is original and is in excellent condition for 45K miles let alone the additional 100, carpet, seats, headliner, visors, door panels all in just amazing condition. Cruise control works, door locks work.

This car was brought to us and we were told to replace or repair anything that looked like it could cause a problem. New A/C, starter, brake booster, sway bar bushings, valve cover gaskets and fuel pressure regulator all in the last months to get her up to speed and reliable. The owner has been enjoying the car but needs to move on due to multiple other foxbody projects. This is a fly in and drive it home car that will impress you when you come to look, I have put over 250 miles on it in the last few weeks. Takes me back to 1993 when I bought one new.
