Selling my STEEL body '32 ford roadster. The frame is a set of ASC rails, they have been fully boxed, pinched 4 inches in the front. bobbed at both ends, swept and notched. The car sits perfect. not too high, not too low. The rear is a Winters quick change. wit, 40 ford axle tubes, all 9 inch backing plates and police brakes in rear. also Dutchman rear axles. It currently holds a set of highway gears, but can be swapped in no time for whatever ratio you want to run. it is mounted on a Posies super slide spring and split '36 Ford wishbones. Rear has vintage Armstrong lever action shocks. The front end is a 32 Ford heavy axle mounted to a Posies super slider spring. front flat crossmember and split wishbone front. The front brakes are '40 ford. chassis has been painted in basecoat clearcoat urethane. Body is a steel Rod Bods. it has a full custom steel floor. The rear wheel arches have been raised 2 inches. This helped to achieve its perfect stance and keep the character line consistent with the tire location. This is a subtle change that almost goes un noticed, but makes all the difference. Body has been sprayed with PPG Matte black urethane. Its quite durable and looks good. 2 inch chopped windshield from Brookville. Steel dash houses a unique 1926 Studebaker gauge cluster that is filled with Stewart Warner gauges (all working). The Cowl steering is an A body Mopar box with custom built pittman arm and tube as well as a hand cast aluminum bubble, utilizing a stainless drag link. this is all controlled by a '40 ford steering wheel on a shortened '40 Ford pick-up column. (steers quite well with no bump steer) Trans is a turbo 350 with stock converter and a lokar shifter. Engine is a '58 283 topped with '61 Corvette power-Pak heads and an Offenhauser tri power intake with fresh built and powder coated Rochester 2-G carbs. Mallory dual point distributor has been converted to full electronic using a Petronix conversion. functioning generator with NOS Delco regulator. '58 Corvette rams horn manifolds and '58 Vette 17 inch four blade fan. all wiring is correct style cloth wrapped running throughout. 6 fuse fuse panel. The headlamps are high polished E&J model 20s with modern sealed beams. they work perfectly and provide awesome lighting. Steel radiator shell and grille cover a high flow aluminum radiator and the radiator cap is a near perfect original '28 Chrysler winged cap. (uber rare) wheels are '40 Ford 16 inch rears and 15 inch fronts. wrapped with firestone rubber. less than 100 miles on tires. '40 ford deluxe caps. Interior is an original'31 Ford roadster seat. completely redone and is nice and firm. door panels, carpet and armrests to match. The car runs and drives nicely, and draws a crowd wherever it is parked. Title is a 32 Ford model18 V8 roadster.
