1946 Ford convertible, barn fine, antique, classic, vintage. This car looks like an original car but drives like a much newer car. The body has small dents and scratches. The sheet metal has not been restored, floor is good but needs rockers. It has a 5.0 Ford fuel injected motor with AOD automatic transmission with approximately 60Kmiles, 8 inch Ford rear with chassis engineering rear spring kit. The rest of the car has about 5K miles since completed. It has a new "Tanks" gas tank with new electric fuel pump. The front end is a chassis engineering independent front end with power rack and Pinion steering and disc brakes. It has a recored heavy dutyradiator and has never overheated. The complete car and engine have new Ron Francis wiring kit. The dash has new gauges and has been refinished in the original wood grain finish. It has a new windshield and vent windows, the rest of the glass is not new and has scratches and a crack in the rear side glass keeping the barn find look.The interior is re-done in the original styling. It has a Lokar automatic shifter, swinging brake pedal with firewall mounted master cylinder, original steering column has been mated to the power rack & Pinion steering for the original look. Top is manual. Has a brand new set of Coker wide white wall radial tires and wheels. Car drives very nice and is just a fun car to drive. Has primer spot showing for that barn find look.
