Car description

Before we beginning, I want you to know that like you, I'm a classic car and truck fanatic. I've also been a seller on eBayer since 1998 and take pride in only receiving positive feedback over the last 21+ years. I've owned dozens of cars over the years and have made many sight unseen deals (many here on eBay) to buy or sell cars across the country.

In addition, I strongly believe in the saying "a picture is worth a thousand words." The Internet has allowed us in our hobby to search for cars nationwide and it's my hope to make you as comfortable as possible with this purchase. Sit back and take a peek through the photos. I will do my best to post links to a couple videos in the next several days. Unfortunately, we're experiencing SNOW here in Wisconsin and I don't want to pull the truck out!If you have any questions, though, please don't hesitate to call me. My name is Jeff and I can be reached at 414-940-8848 before 9:00 p.m. central time.

Exterior and Mechanicals

For sale is my 1994 Ford F150 XLT 4X4 pickup truck. This truck was purchased from the Pueblo area, which is a high, dry part of the country, so it has remained rust free over the years. Honestly, the condition of the truck is pretty remarkable, especially considering the tough lives many of these F150 4x4's have led. The factory original Royal Blue metallic paint is miles deep and has been waxed lovingly over the years. Recently it's been treated to another coat of Pinnacle Souveran paste wax, which is helping give it that ridiculous depth.

It's obvious this gorgeous pickup has been cared for over the years, but it has also been used. Please review the 100 or so photos and note that there are a few dings, nicks, and scratches on this beautiful truck.

This beauty shows just 91,200 original miles on its bullet proof 302 V8 and C6 w/Overdrive drivetrain. The truck has 3.55 gears and factory posi axles (H9 code). Note that the truck also has 6 shock heavy duty suspension and heavy rear springs. To use old school lingo, the truck sits really "tough." It starts, runs, idles, and drives well and appears to have been babied over the years. The truck is titled in my name and is currently driven on nice days.

To support its mechanical history, a stack of receipts is included with the sale. Most recently, the pickup has received new tires (6,000 miles) tune-up, ball joints, all 6 shocks, fuel pump in one tank, battery, and brakes. Oil change receipts are also plentiful and the transmission fluid was changed within the last 5,000 miles. The 4 wheel drive operates as it should in high and low.

The truck was elderly owned for many years and used as a fishing/camping truck. The owner would sleep in the bed of the truck and fish rivers throughout Colorado. I've kept the cap on and bed carpeted in case the new owner would like to utilize the truck in the same way. If not, with an afternoon of work, the truck would be back to the way it was. Please note that the clear coat is failing on the cap and the rear struts need replacing. It also looks like only one side window slides properly.

Interior

Inside, the truck is in excellent condition overall. The interior was smoked in at some point early in its life (does not currently smell of smoke) and has a burn hole in the driver's side cushion, as seen in the photos. There are two small cracks in the dash pad, and the driver's side seat edge shows some wear from getting in and out of the truck. The steering wheel leather is in excellent shape, the carpet is clean, the headliner is nice and tight, and overall, the seat is in excellent condition. The power windows and locks operate, as does the cruise. The air conditioning also works properly.

Underneath, the truck is just as clean as it is up top. The undercarriage has been recently cleaned and coated with a light coat of WD40 to keep components from rusting.

The Bottom Line

At the end of the day, this is just an honest pickup. It accelerates nicely, the and is quiet. The ride is surprisingly smooth for a 4x4, too. The truck has been nicely maintained and looks sharp going down the road, too. I think any buyer would be proud to own this piece of Ford history.
