Description

1969 Ford F-100 Short Bed 240 6 cyl 4 speed. Ex-Forest Service pickup,That was based ih Missoula MT. It still has orignial 16 inch wheels and good bias ply tires. The only things not orignial are the seat cover the mirror, radio, gas tank starter, alternator, possibly the grille and rear bumper. I believe I'm the 3rd owner and that it has 47384 original miles but I can't prove this. Hasthe dana 60 locking rear axle with 4.10 gears and a warner t-18 transmission. I replaced the fuel tank because the original one was gumed up. It runs very well and goes down the road nicely, with radial tires. It was my summer daily driver. I have never driven it on the highway with the bias plys. There is a little rust behind the hood hinges, starting on the front cab mounts, the rear crossmember, right rear cab corner, drivers door comes with a patch panel for the drivers bottom. I started body work on drivers fender by patching it but never finished it. I put in an electronic dynalife solid state ignition. The inside of box is very nice.
