RARE: 1942 Ford Coupe Street Rod
This is a chance to own a really eye-catching vintage cruiser from a rare model year. The original model design was introduced in September of 1941 but production was stopped in Feb 1942 due to the war. As a result, there were very few made to begin with, making this car particularly unusual.
The car has been finished with a striking metallic purple paint featuring a very subtle monochromatic ghost flame design across the front of the car. The all steel body is in great shape and has no rust.
The vehicle is powered by a 350 small block Chevy V8 with dual exhaust system and power is delivered via a 3-speed auto. The chrome air filter assembly and summit racing aluminum valve covers look great. The car rides on Dragline polished aluminum wheels with 165/80/15s on the front and 235/60/15s on the back.
There is a newly trimmed cloth interior and roof lining with 'Forty Two' printed behind the rear seat. The driver's seat is electrically adjustable. The dash has a metal panel panel with auto meter gauges, AM/FM/CD stereo system and a tilt steering column with 5-spoke steering wheel (body paint color).
There are some cool additional touches such as a Frenched antenna, shaved trunk and door handles and 'Forty Two' painted on the trunk.
$500 deposit required. Balance by cashier's check once you've seen the car.
