1963 Ford Falcon Sedan

With regret, I am selling my Falcon. My first car was a 1961 Ford Falcon, I loved that car. A few years ago, I sold my Camaro. I felt I still needed a fun car. It had been 40 years since I drove that Falcon, but the memories always stayed with me. I am in my 50's now and decided to get another Falcon. I bought this 1963 Sedan on eBay in 2016 from a nice elderly couple in Portland, Oregon. I flew up to Portland and picked up the car and drove it back to Southern California where I live. What a great drive that was.

Now, my wife and I have decided to retire, and we are moving to Florida. I know, it is a cliché, but it is a lower cost of living than California and it will help stretch that money. I am emotional about selling my Falcon, but I need to, more than want to.

The car runs great. There is 94836.0 miles on the odometer. It is a joy every time I drive it. It has a 3-speed transmission with the column shift. I know a lot of people don't like that shifter, but it adds to the nostalgia of the car along with the ashtray on the back of the front seat.

The car is in need of a paint job. On the rear driver side door there is a significate line of paint chips. I was coming through the gate at my house, the gate was closing, and I stalled the car and the gate scraped the door, totally my fault. There are heavy rust spots on the lower corners of all four doors. There is a couple of spots where you can see the "cancer" under the paint as in the photo of the front driver side fender.
